We first came across the magic of what it means to work with human potential in the workplace through our involvement in the South African recruitment sector. Jobseekers were underprivileged, poorly educated and unskilled and here we were, writing training manuals for recruitment consultants on how to ‘sell’ this talent to their clients. It was there that we learnt and subsequently taught, that this work needed to go beyond the standard paperwork, metrics, targets and ratios so well known to the industry. We found ourselves driving the need for spirited and purposeful conversations to connect with human beings whose circumstances were vastly different to what we could even imagine.
HR360 Ltd's human-centric philosophy was born out of this experience, further emphasising the growing challenge we face with the mechanisation of organisations, today. We have 12 year's worth of human resources, recruitment and leadership knowledge, with a strong expertise in and understanding of organisational tech talent, people, learning and culture in both equity- backed and founder-led organisations focused on performance, growth and costs.
We liken an organisation to that of the human body - a living, breathing system that requires a healthy balance of factors to perform optimally. These factors - emotional, mental, spiritual, physical and agility - are necessary in order to create a workplace where people are committed to the organisation’s goals and values, motivated to contribute to its success and feel supported throughout their entire employee lifespan. An organisation lacking in one of these factors is considered out of balance, which compromises its ability to inspire greatness in its people and reach its full potential. Greatness exists in all of us, it’s just a matter of creating the right conditions for its realisation.
Life-long learning We believe in the continuous quest to seek knowledge in order to improve our skills and best serve our clients.
Bold We are not afraid to challenge imbalances in organisations and engage in difficult conversations by expressing ourselves honestly and directly. 360º thinking Our approach to all organisation life is through systemic thinking as no parts of any system function independently. This helps us to empower our clients to connect the dots, understand underlying dynamics and gain a greater understanding of their organisational landscape.
Openness We promote an inclusive and open culture, where people are encouraged to bring their true selves to work.
Unconventional We’ve binned the transactional HR rules and norms and instead, embrace a human-centric approach both internally and with all client relationships.
